Students from the Library and Information Science discipline can
participate by producing valid identity card issued form their institution.
* The
non-participant accompanying person are welcome to India. They are entitled
for about 40% discount of the
individual participants. However, the participants are advised to inform in
advance the details of the accompanying person. ACCOMMODATION
The
limited accommodation available with the organisers will be given on the
first come first served basis. However, the organisers can assist the
delegates in getting alternative accommodation according to delegate�s
budget in nearby state/organisational guest houses, etc. Delegates are
advised to see the updates in this regard on the conference website from
time to time. Else, please check the details of various hotel accommodations
online. CLIMATE
Climate of Delhi in the month of April which is the end of the winter
season, is pleasant. The maximum temperature on a very hot Delhi afternoon
would be about 21 to 32C and the minimum would fall to about 18C.
Citizens of all countries, except Nepal and Bhutan, require a valid visa
granted by Indian Missions Abroad for entering India. Those wishing to visit
a neighboring country like Sri Lanka or Nepal and then returning to India,
should obtain a double/multiple entry visa. On the receipt of registration
fee, the Organizing Committee shall issue necessary documents as required
for obtaining Visa from Indian consulate from the country of the applicant.
