We offer M.A Economics Four Semester Programme with 32 Optionals and 12 Compulsory Courses
M.Phil Economics Two Semester programme First Semester Course Work , and the other Semester for Thesis preparation.
Ph.D minimum Three Years programme towards preparing Dissertation If the Department feels any of Ph.D candidates need to under take course work he or she will be advised to do Course work along with M.Phil students.
The Department of Economics has been offering programmes of study leading to M.A.,M.Phil.and Ph.D. degrees since 1979. The Department offers a well balanced courses of study at all levels incorporating Economic Theory and Analysis, Econometrics and Mathematical Economics, Political Economy,International Economics and the Indian Economic Problems. Computer facilities with advanced software packages to suit their academic requirements are available.
Our team exposed to the International Academic Standards and also proven that we belong to best academic community by attaining International Fellowships and Academic Exchange with Other Internationally reputed Universities, Research bodies abroad.
Academically Excellent and Talented Eighteen Faculty Most of the teachers
with Ph.D as the highest qualification 75 students got UGC/Net and ICSSR
