Dr.Tariq  Ashraf has been educated  at Hindu College, University of
Delhi and holds Doctoral degree in Library & Information Science from Department of Library & Information Science, University of Delhi. He is currently working as Deputy Librarian at University of Delhi, and has earlier worked as Librarian at IIM, Lucknow, IILM, and Centre For Policy Research, New Delhi. Dr. Ashraf has contributed 25 research papers in various prestigious national and international journals and has been resource person at several workshops and seminars. Among his four well selling books,  a commissioned documentation of India's Parliamentary  elections since their inception in 1952 till the last election held in year 2004,  has been recognized by researchers, policy makers, psychologists and media persons as one of outstanding contribution to election studies. He has been member of Editorial Boards of several prestigious publications like Fortune Journal of International Management, ILA Bulletin, RRC Newsletter & MANLIBNET
Review. Dr. Ashraf  is winner of international paper contest held by
American Society for Information Science and Technology (ASIST) and recipient of Eugene Garfield travel grant to USA in year 2003.

Mr. Rajesh Singh is presently working as Deputy Librarian Electronic Resources & Training Division, University of Delhi, Delhi. A Gold Medalist from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Mr. Singh has served various organizations in different professional capacities. He has served Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, as Sr. Professional Assistant; IASE, MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, as Assistant Librarian and Dr. RML Avadh University, Faizabad, also as Assistant Librarian. He has around two dozens of papers to his credit.

Mr. Singh's area of interest and specialization includes Information Literacy and Competency, WWW Resources and Searching Techniques.

Dr. Lokesh Sharma is presently working as Deputy University  Librarian as Head of the Ratan Tata Library (RTL), a unit of the Delhi University Library System, at the  Delhi School of Economics (DSE) in the University of Delhi for the last more than one year after serving as the Librarian for more than a decade in the Ramjas College, Delhi University. Before joining the Ramjas College, he served for about 19 years in the Delhi University Library System as Professional Assistant. He is B. Sc., M. A. in Sociology, M. L. I. S. from DU and Ph. D. in Lib. & Inf. Sc. from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur.   He is  recipient of  Gold Medal from Rajasthan Univ., Jaipur for securing 1st Position at B. Lib. in the year 1975-76, Merit Certificate for securing 2nd position in the order of merit of First divisioners  at MLIS examination of DU in the year 1983-84 and Bronze Medal from FAO (UN)  for participating in an Essay Competition in the year 1984. He has authored 5 books (two titles released in Jan 2007)  in Lib. & Inf. Sc. and Sociology and 10 articles and research papers. He is active life member of the ILA and Indian Red Cross Society. To his credit, he has got computerized Library of the Ramjas College, DU in the year 2000 and now the computerization of the Ratan Tata Library, Delhi School of Economics is in progress. Before computerization of the RTL, initially the Website of the RTL was launched for the benefit of the users.

Mr. R.P. Singh, Assistant Librarian (Selection Grade), joined the Delhi University Library System as Professional Assistant in 1982 after completing M.Sc.(Physics) and M.Lib.Sc. He was promoted to Assistant Librarian in 1986 and worked in modern European Languages Library, Slavonic and Finno-Ugrian Library, South Campus Library, Law Faculty Library as Incharge and Central Science Library. At present he is in Central Library. He has attended a number of conferences and seminars of his professional interest and is a life member of Indian Library Association.

Mr. Umesh Narain Mathur, Assistant Librarian, is working with Central Science Library of Delhi University Library System. Before joining to Central Science Library in 1998, he has worked in different libraries of the system including South Campus Library, Central Library and the Arts Library holding charge of the different sections viz Periodicals, Processing and Circulation. Mr. Mathur has passed the M.L.I.Sc. examination from University of Delhi with record marks and awarded Prof S Das Gupta memorial Gold Medal from then Vice President of India Shri R.VenkataRaman. Mr. Mathur has presented a paper on bibliometrics in 1985 ILA conference held at Jaipur. Presently Mr. Mathur pursuing his M.Phil. and is looking after the Technical Section of Central Science Library.

Dr. O.P. Sachdeva is presently working as Assistant Librarian in Department of Information and Library Science library, prior to this he worked in the Library of Law Centre I, 1973 - 1986. He obtained First position in BLISc examination in the University of Delhi in 1979 and awarded with Gopal Krishan Gold Medal in Library Science. He also did M.Com., LL.B. and MLISc from Delhi University. Beside this he cleared UGC-NET Library Science (1989-90). He is also a member of ILA, DLA and IASLIC.

Dr. Mahender Pal Singh, Assistant Librarian in DULS presently working as Incharge Law Centre-II Library, Faculty of Law. Initially Dr.Singh started his career as Documentation Assistant in National Informatics Centre, Government of India.w.e.f. 6^th May 1981. After that Dr. Singh left the NIC and joined the IIT, New Delhi Library as Senior Library Assistant w.e.f. 18/02/1982. On 30/05/1982 Dr. Singh joined DULS as Professional Assistant. He has worked in different libraries of DULS as Arts Library, Braille Library, Central Library, Department of Zoology Library and Faculty of Law Library. Dr. Singh obtained his master’s degree in economics and psychology. He did B.Ed., M.L.I.Sc., M.Phil. and Ph.D. from University of Delhi.
