The Information Brochure and forms will be available from the 4^th June 2012, and the last date for submission of completed application forms for all courses is 25^th June 2012, (till 5:00 p.m.)

List of candidates eligible to write the entrance exam will be put up on the 28^th June 2012 on the Notice Board and Website.

* One Year P.G Intensive Diploma in Japanese Language (JF-1)

* One Year P.G Intensive Diploma in Chinese Language (CF-1)

* One Year P.G Intensive Diploma in Korean Language (KF-1)

** One Year P.G Intensive Advance Diploma in Japanese Language (JF-2)

** One Year P.G Intensive Advance Diploma in Chinese Language (CF-2)

** One Year P.G Intensive Advance Diploma in Korean Language (KF-2)

Unless otherwise stated, the entrance test for the all programmes will carry a total 100 marks each (70 for the written test and 30 for the interview)

The list of candidates selected for admission will be available on the Department Notice Board on 9^th July, 2012.

Fees must be deposited by all students admitted to various courses between 10^th - 18^th July 2012.

Classes will begin from 23^rd July 2012.

Part Time Courses

Department of East Asian Studies

University of Delhi

Offers Part time courses in Chinese / Japanese / Korean languages in the following colleges of the University of Delhi:

1. Daulat Ram College

2. Ramjas College

3. S. G. T. B. Khalsa College

4. Delhi College of Arts and Commerce

Minimum eligibility conditions for admission:

1. One Year Certificate Course in Chinese / Japanese / Korean:

12 years of schooling, admission on merit

2. One Year Diploma Course in Chinese/ Japanese/ Korean:

Certificate in the respective language i.e. successful completion of

CP-1/ JP-1/ KP-1 offered by DEAS, Delhi University

3. One Year Advanced Diploma in Chinese/ Japanese/ Korean:

Diploma in the respective language i.e. successful completion of

CP-2 /JP-2/ KP-2 offered by DEAS, Delhi University

Students who have completed CP-3 are eligible to appear in the entrance test for admission to the One Year Post-graduate Intensive Advanced Diploma in Chinese offered at the Department of East Asian Studies, provided they have completed graduation with a minimum of 45% marks.

Students who have completed JP-2 / KP-2 are eligible to appear in the entrance test for admission to the One Year Post-graduate Intensive Advanced Diploma in Japanese / Korean offered at the Department of East Asian Studies, provided they have completed graduation with a minimum of 45% marks.
